Two piece front sight design allows for complete removal of gas system for ease of maintainability. Flash hider need not be removed and full dis-assembly of barrel and receiver can be achieved easily. Serrations on the angled sight surface eliminate glare. Docking area on bottom allow for mounting of accessory rail.
